As a responsible citizen of the world I cannot idly stand by and watch the only true beacon of freedom in the world and the freedoms of my friends be extinguished due to the actions of a corporate controlled administration and an irresponsible president who committed electoral fraud to gain office, and whose family has long standing ties to some very sinister people. And I am utterly appalled by the media’s failure to address these issues. People would do well to remember the words spoken by former US President Thomas Jefferson: “That we are to stand by a president whether he is right or wrong is not only unpatriotic and servile, it is morally treasonable to the American People.” And of former US President Ronald Regan who stated: “It takes only one generation for a Nation to lose its freedom” What happens in America is echoed strongly in Australia and if America falls from within, then so will my country fall, and again, all the signs are there, and now far too many to be ignored.
Due to 911, the so called “War on Terror” and laws that have been passed by the current administrations, presently, America, Australia, and Britain are politically in the position of Germany in 1937 whose people were also in denial. It is crucial for the entire world that history be remembered and this situation is taken in hand, and for that reason I am, and will continue to be, outspoken about such issues in the name of what is right, regardless of the consequences, and to offer one more quote that I believe can be adapted to fit almost every situation in daily life, this time from Martin Luther King:

The Last Leg Today we have been on the road over 100 days, and we are due back in Melbourne on July 4th. The journey has changed us all, yet the tide of Tyranny is continuing to come in. On a positive note the goal of the journey, birthed in Epic, was to try replant the joy, hope and its sense of a new community , all around Australia, like your grandmother reseeding a neighbour’s plant. But this was arrogant, for Epic is seeding itself everywhere, from Portland to Boolaroo to Darwin. And we’ve proved it by going there, physically, and meeting these seedlings.
These warriors. I now believe that the Shrine was where the Resistance was officially conceived, and Epic was the womb where our glorious and growing resistance was born. And even though we are making mistakes, that’s just because we are learning to use our limbs, to speak with our new voice, to discern what we are seeing with our liberated eyes, coloured in the hue and the hunger of freedom. Before returning to Melbourne we will continue to record these people’s stories. It is an honour to do so, and all three of us feel humbled and warmed to be a part of this growing tribe. This rising Counterculture that will one day be the king tide that will wash away all their perversions. Now we have to philosophize, decide what we need from a culture, not just for us but for the future generations, for this defined need will allow us to see our destination, the new country we will help build, and once we can see it, we will reach it, create it, for as a people that’s what we have the skills, passion and responsibility to do.
